The PlayStation 5 is Coming Out Soon

Just when you thought that 2020 is a total year gone to waste, one exciting development many are looking forward to is the release of the PlayStation 5, branded as the PS5. With every PS model release, many gamers would be excited to start selecting the first group of games that they will be trying out.

Most related to the PS5 design has already been unveiled and we already have Horizon Forbidden West and Spider-Man in the line-up. The composition of the new PS5 includes an SSD for faster loading, ray tracing, a built-in 4K Blu-ray player and the capacity to play a large number of games which were released on PS4.

The design of the PS5 is also quite different from what we are accustomed to. The black and white element shows progression and evolution, as we herald in a new era of gaming. The PS5 will not be released as just one console, but there will also be a PS5 Digital Edition, one which is based solely on digital games with no disc drive.

The release of the PS5 will be on the 12th of November in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Mexico and South Korea. For the rest of the world, the release will be on the 19th of November. The PS5 will undoubtedly serve as extremely strong competition to the Xbox Series X, which is due to be released on the 10th of November.

This period is indeed ideal, as the launch of the PS5 comes with some new and exciting video games. These include Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, Cyberpunk 2077 and Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War, which are yet to be released in November. This would also be accompanied by the shopping rush of Black Friday, which follows just a few days later.

One other exciting development is the fact that the user interface will be completely overhauled when compared to the PS4.

The SSD

This is an exceptionally important component in the new PS5. This reduces loading time and can allow games to have more extensive open worlds. This is because this reduces the limitations of mechanical hard drives and allows memory to be used more efficiently.

A statement by Sony is quite ambitious as it is stated that the PS5 will revolutionise the gaming experience for many across the world.
